One of the funniest and best known films featuring Neapolitan comedy legend Totò. The movie, directed in 1958 by Camillo Mastrocinque, depicts the struggles and moral dilemmas of three men in financial difficulty, in 1950's Italy. Set against the backdrop of a country still untouched by the prosperity of the following decade is the hilarious, short-lived criminal career of a "gang of honest men".
