This week has been tremendously exciting for ROLI as we previewed the Seaboard RISE, an accessible musical instrument that extends the revolutionary, award-winning technologies of the Seaboard GRAND to a wide audience of music-makers.

Our preview party was a lot of fun. We had a big group of friends, supporters and artists come to our HQ in Dalston to see the RISE for the first time, followed by an exclusive performance from acclaimed electronic musician Emika on the RISE. Roland Lamb, Seaboard inventor and ROLI's founder and CEO, was about to speak at 8:30pm when the power went out just where we had set up the live stream! But a few moments later we had everything up and running again, and Roland introduced the Seaboard RISE and gave a short presentation about it in the context of efforts over the past century to create a truly expressive musical instrument.
